NQMod Changes[]
Paratroopers are now "Paradropping Units" instead of "Gunpowder Units" (as of v3 of the mod). These are identical for all purposes except that Paradropping Units are no longer eligible to receive the Blitz promotion.
Without this change Paratrooper and XCOM Squad units with the Blitz promotion are an uncounterable way to take cities in simultaneous multiplayer games. Because those units take time to show up on an opponent's screen after being air dropped, queued attacks on the city will take effect before the opponent can respond. By reducing a city to zero health with Stealth Bombers (and dropping a Nuke to destroy any defenders if they are surrounding it) that city can then be taken by these Blitz units with no counter play.
